Smarter Working Master Class - Tuesday 25th November, 10.00-16.00 MEPC, Rosewood, Chineham Park, Basingstoke

The Smarter Working Master Class is a one-day practical workshop led by The MATiSSE Knowledge Exchange Partners designed to help and support organisations with moving away from traditional fixed hours office working and instead introducing or expanding smarter, more flexible ways of working within their organisation.

Many businesses are already enjoying the benefits of Smarter Working practices, which include a less stressful, less polluting and more productive working week, and a better work-life balance for staff.


By attending the Smarter Working Master Class, you will learn how to implement industry best practices in your organisation supported by use of the MATiSSE Smarter Working Toolkit as a workbook.

Printer default settings: Are you fed up having to continually set your printer to draft to save ink to fin that it resets to normal?

Go to 'Start' - 'Control Panel' - 'printers' right clikc on the printer and go to properties and change to draft setting and save or apply.

Its 'official' we are in a recession :o(   ...so ....

 

Over the last few months  I have been speaking with other business people at network meetings and discussing ideas of how to build our businesses in the current economic climate and it seems that everyone agrees that we have to take some action. So I thought I would start an idea based around referrals and recommending services clients?
 
My idea is to contact people that I have met this year to 1) let them know what we do  2) ask for referrals to  new customers and 3) pass on three recommendations from our list of 'associates'. In return we will refer you to our contacts and customers but we need to have a clear description of what you do, what you are offering and who would suit using your services? If you have read this far then I hope you may be interested in the idea and read the description below of what we do and then contact 3 of your contacts who might want to look at using our services?
